Our Founder

Prior to founding NightResponse, Daniel Friess enjoyed success in developing and running a commercial construction and management company as well as focusing time on real estate investment and property management. Dan was raised in this field managing his family's properties since he was in high school. He went on to obtain his bachelors degree in Urban Planning from the University of California at San Diego. He then earned his Master of Science degree in Construction Management and Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley, and Master of Real Estate Development degree from the University of Southern California.

His numerous accomplishments include being the youngest licensed contractor in California in 1992, building a well recognized and highly reputable commercial construction company from 1995 to 2006, and developing and managing multiple commercial properties. Enjoying a breadth of expertise and experience in all levels of real estate, Dan clearly understands the needs of property owners and managers. His knowledge and inspiration form the ideal foundation for NightResponse.
